My newest and possibly one of the most fun accomplishments that I had in 2008 was getting approved as a stock photographer/illustrator at Shutterstock.com. I am still very new to the whole "stock" scene but I am learning quickly and increasing my portfolio frequently. It is fun to get some of my artwork out there and see how it does in the real world. I have recently been working on putting new Christmas designs on my Zazzle stores. I think that I have some good stuff but of course I am biased! Mainly I design all of my stuff using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I am doing all I can to improve my graphic design skills and computing skills to improve my overall designs. But that's life. I am working on new items for all of the zazzle stores. Right now I am working on developing 2009 calendars and christmas cards. The items I have created either have my photography on them or designs that I have created. It's fun and exciting. Hopefully everyone will have some time to check out my stuff.

I have recently started developing a home based design business. I have done this by working through Zazzle.com. I have been doing well but I need to cultivate for business opportunities as I would eventually like to get my own site. As a part of trying to reach more people I have entered a competition.
